Caesarstone vs Silestone vs Cambria vs Zodiaq quartz countertop?
Comments (43)We have polished Organic White countertops. We also get subtle metal marks that won't come out. These counters are just a few months old. No one else would notice it, but I certainly do. I would recommend getting a sample of the quartz you are considering and testing it yourself. Maybe we're just unlucky? Although, the number of websites that say "quartz doesn't stain" seem to be equalled by the number of websites that say "here's how to get stains out of your quartz". We haven't tried Magic Eraser and it is somewhat discouraged since it is abrasive, but we may try that next....See MoreI have chips on my new cambria countertops
Comments (76)@Joseph Cornett, LLC I posted on another thread and sent you a message. Our Cambria countertops arrived with the wrong profile (it came with sharper edge Ridgeline and we ordered quarter round Summit to help with chips). The installer is removing it today, Cambria is picking it up tomorrow and taking it back to their location to fix. Cambria does the cutting in our area, probably because we are close~ about 3 hours. I was told by our installer that the sink would stay the same "sharper" edge, specifically ZR. I then confirmed in a phone call to Cambria that they "typically" do one standard edge profile on undermount sinks. Is this right? I am at my wit's end with this whole house construction. It has been non-stop problems and mistakes....See MoreGRANITE COUNTERTOP DEFECT OR NATURAL?

Comments (4)I am a fabricator. You absolutely do not have to "go with cambria because of our contractor". Cambria is only one of many options and as the customer you make the call on what you get. Go shopping at fabricators (not Big Box stores) on your own with your cabinet drawings and I suspect you will find multiple acceptable options that are far less than the price charged for Cambria. I used to do Cambria but ended the relationship when I could no longer tolerate their poor service. (they also didn't like that I did natural stone). All that said it is fair to note that as a repeat customer of the fabricator you contractor has some additional influence in the event there is an issue with your countertops. Google "resin pools" which Cambria doesn't think are defects....See MoreNala 123
