Spring is finally here

I think spring is finally here. The magnolias bloomed this year and didn't get frosted. Most of the fruit trees are in bloom or getting ready to bloom. Here's what's blooming in our garden.

This flowering quince is an invasive monster. It keeps growing into the daylilies.

This double-flowered quince is better behaved.

This Korean spice viburnum spells heavenly.

This Icelandic poppy is named Champagne Bubbles Pink but it looks coral to me.

I know some consider violets weeds but we love them. They grow in the daylily bed, but they don't bother me, unlike ornithogalum.

I found this butterfly on the thuja the other day

I love spring!
