The best thing to do is call and ask, as it's very likely they can give you exact recommendations based on the product you want to use. The conventional wisdom is to use separate injectors, because the interactions between acid stock solutions and fertilizer stock solutions are complicated and likely to cause problems. Even jar tests may not give you all the information when you're using a micro-irrigation system.. even small amounts of insoluble precipitates can build up and clog nozzles, creating a huge headache. If citric acid is an economically practical choice, you may want to consider it. It's relatively complication free, even with respect to micronutrients.

One thing you all need to learn is that humic substances have the most amount of misinformation spread about them in the agricultural industry and even more in the hydroponic industry. To answer a couple of questions. 95% of fulvic products, usually potassium fulvate are not what you think they are. Anyone who talks about a super concentrate is a salesman. Pure fulvic will read ppm the only thing that won't is pure water. Humic acid and fulvic acid are the two main organic acids extracted from humic substances. Humin is another but is of no use in hydroponics as it is completely insoluble. When people talk about solubility of humic and fulvic this is not actually correct. they form what are called colloidal suspensions. Commercially they are extracted from brown coal also called low grade coal or lignite, preferably from a brown coal called leonardite which is more soluble because it is more oxidised and the average oxygen and functional group content is higher. They are also extracted from peat, leonardite is high in humic and low in fulvic generally and peat in comparison has a higher fulvic content and lower humic content. I won't go into the details of extraction and isolation but basically potassium hydroxide is used to get the soluble humic substances into solution and then the humic acid is precipitated to separate it from the soluble fulvic. An array of different additives are used to increase the effiancy of extraction and are usually dependant on the source material of the humic matter. I have worked on humic substances for 15 years consulting all over the world inc. Europe, Russia and China. If you want to make your own home made fulvic the easiest way is to buy some peat, and add about 1.5 litres of vinegar to 500g of peat. Mix well and leave for a couple of days or more. Strain out the peat and your done. If you have a highly decomposed compost this will work as well especially if you have added microbes to your compost.

To exfoliate you can use chemicals (acids) or mechanicals (scrubs). I've used both and I think the acids are more effective and less aggravating. Use your fingers to gently massage away dead skin. Or use a large sponge for a little abrasiveness. Drug store brand liquid acne cleansers containing salicylic acids are actually pretty good. Clean And Clear, and Neutrogena have sal. acid formulas. Murad products contain glycolic acid. Estee Lauder Fruition contains a mixture of AHAs - I don't remember which, it's very expensive but lasts a long time. It's not a cleanser, it's a treatment. Avon True Pore-Fection Skin Refining Cleanser contains sal. acid, glyc. acid AND bentonite - I love it. Buy it online and buy multiples - Avon discontinues products and introduces new ones all the time. Masks containing bentonite (it's the greenish clay - make sure the ingredients call out bentonite), include Queen Helene's very cheap Mint Julep mask. It smells like toothpaste and it's almost all bentonite so it's very strong. It sucks everything out of your skin. Too strong for daily use. On the other end of the price scale is Borghese's Fango Active Mud mask. A more refined mixture of ingredients but a lot more expensive too. Good thing is you don't need much.

I HAVE MYSELF EXPERIMENTED WITH BAKING SODA ...I JUST MAKE MY FIRST VERY OWN PIZZA "WITH" PIZZA SAUCE...I USED THE BAKING SODA TO TAKE THE ACID OUT OF THE SAUCE AND ILL BE DANGED IT WORKS.......I HAVE SEVERE GERD (ACID REFLUX) AND I CANT EAT HALF THE STUFF I LOVE......MY NEXT EXPERIMENT IS WITH TA DAAAAAAAA KETCHUP.......IF THE PIZZA SAUCE CAN BE CALMED DOWN...I THINK THE KETCHUP CAN....I DONT EAT IT OFTEN BUT I DO LOVE IT ON MY FRIES AND WITH CORN DOGS (I EAT THE CHICKEN KIND IT WORKS) SO YEAH GIVE IT A TRY JUST BE CAREFUL USE A 1/4 TSP AT A TIME...IT WILL BUBBLE ......WHEN YOU CAN PUT A PINCH IN IT AND IT "NOT" BUBBLE YOU HAVE TAKEN MOST OF THE ACIDITY OUT BUTTTTTT NOW REMEMBER IT WILL CHANGE THE TASTE SOME.......IT MAKES IT SWEETER MORE THAN TART......BUT THERE YA GO MY EXPERIENCE WITH BAKING SODA AND TOMATOE ( I EVEN FOUND A WAY TO GROW TOMATOES THAT ARE LESS IN ACIDITY YOU CAN GROW THEM AND PUT BAKING SODA AT THE BASE OF THE PLANT AND IT MAKES THEM A SWEETER TOMATO AND GUESS WHAT "LESS ACIDIC" HAVE FUN EXPERIMENT :)
