Rain, rain, rain and then disaster!

Well, it seems that California and Crete have had very similar winters. Lots and lots and lots of rain. All of my elderly neighbours say that they do not remember a wetter winter. It has caused some damage to some roads and infrastructure. Lots of rockfalls and mudslides onto the roads, but from a personal and selfish perspective, it has been wonderful. It has also been a cool spring, so my tulips have lasted a beautiful long time. The roses are full of buds. I have never seen so many buds. It makes me dizzy just thinking of the blooms to come.

However, disaster has struck! I have lost my camera! My DH and I have turned the house upside down looking for it, but to no avail.

I am going into Aghios Nicholas, the local town today, to help some friends plant up some beds and pots in the local hospital's garden, so whilst I am in town I will look for a new camera.

Here is the last photo I took with my lost camera, in my garden, with Tabitha of course.
