It's also National laundry day.

Back in 2012 we were invited to a fancy dinner to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Titanic that was sort of meant to emulate being on the ship, including replicating the meal served in the First Class dining room that last night on the ship.

To get into the spirit of the event I found and printed out some tickets purportedly like those used on the ship.

They had a reproduction of a poster advertisement

National Laundry Day, huh. I do have one, it's about 10 years old. I have always liked the picture. The neighbors red drapes hung out to dry.

I thought mamapinky would appreciate it being national laundry day.

Mine is from Alaska as well. No laundry involved.
