I almost never photograph food, but here is one of a Mexican orange.

The hotel we stayed at in Poland had a restaurant/bakery on the first floor. They started baking bread, cakes, pastries and assorted other goodies at 2:00 in the morning. One of my favorites were these little tarts. I used to go downstairs in the mornings and buy one to take back to our room to have with my tea.

One morning, the hot water heater stopped working. We notified them and it was fixed within a couple of hours. It was a minor inconvenience, but later that day hotel management sent up this box of candy from the bakery as an apology. They were delish!

It looks like they deliver now also. Their dessert menu is on page 13 of this site. We ordered a combination dessert and shared it.

Olallieberry tart from last summer. Have several places here where you can pick your own berries. I love anything made with berries.

Wow, Fun, that is fantastically cute!!

My niece took me out for a belated birthday lunch today at a restaurant I knew about but neither of us had been. Everything's organic. We had burgers - grass fed beef with some chili pepper flakes worked into it. Just enough to give it a little kick. It was topped with mozzarella and chopped spinach with a light dressing of lemon and garlic. It was really good and even better was how very nice all the people were there. We are all connected by the farmers they buy their ingredients from are the farmers that sell at our Farmers Market!! They have an extensive menu for such a small place and I will definitely go back.
