yes have electric 3 yrs old & propane fueled 7 yrs old in different homes. no issues w doors (except to adapt to left closing). both perform well. electric more bells whistles being newer.. digital and pizza stone. however on advice on tech (we had 1 svc call for faulty thermostat ez repair but they pulled entire panel and replaced), pizza stone carefully removed, stored. this way oven heats and cools faster. note that neither throws excessive heat into space. trade off is a fan running to aid slow deliberate cool down. this might annoy in an open space eat in kitchen. our fan friendly oven is installed in walk in pantry utility room that houses freezer and extra refrig (main kitchen has 30" Leibherr)

Thank you, everyone, for your ideas. You've given me a lot to think about. I'm overwhelmed that anyone would take the time to respond and post pictures, and I'm so grateful for your insights. I'm open to suggestions, so I really appreciate your thoughts. To answer a couple of questions...1) The entry to the kitchen is what is opposite the front door..The entry to the kitchen is through a regular size door way. 2) Yes, we are getting a new door with windows (I'm so excited about that), but there is no window in the foyer. 3) I agree, we definitely need more light and I think that's why I've become adverse to the wall. 4) I wish I had a different space for the dog bed, but there really isn't anywhere else we could put it, unless we relocated it in a different part of the house. 5) I like the idea of shoe storage, but I doubt my family would utilize it. I'm okay with incessantly asking them to put there shoes away;-) Any other thoughts? (BTW, I'm so embarrassed about all the typos, but that's what happens when I type on my phone ughh!)

IMO Wall to window would look more balanced

Can you show the other sides of the room? Is it open concept? Any other art nearby? Could you use more furniture in there (chest, bookshelf, armoire, etc)? What decor styles do you like? Budget? I think you can do something that looks *much better and is more personal/thoughtful/interesting than matching generic waiting room prints, but more context would be helpful. *Unless that’s a look you like, of course. If so, you can easily find that sort of art online or in person at Home Goods and other similar stores.
