Paint Design Dilemma Exterior

Need help with exterior color for 1 side red brick house

HELP!!! We have been in our home for 21 years and have always had white siding and white trim. It looks nice and clean with the red brick, but we are ready for a change. I am having a REALLY hard time figuring out where to go color wise. My contractor uses Sherwin Williams, does anyone have some color suggestions??? I would like to have a color for the siding and a different color for the trim to try to add a little extra to the overall look. I have included several pictures, and as stated in the title, our house in 1 side red brick and 3 sides, siding. This makes for A LOT of siding. The last picture is just a close up of the brick color. I am also inquiring with a contractor about having the columns added to, to make them a little "meatier" they have always looked too skinny to me. ANY on suggestions on colors (or anything else) would be greatly appreciated!

1. remove the shutters they are too narrow for your windows.

2. I would choose either a navy blue or charcoal grey/brown for the siding and keep white trim.

You have a lot of lawn. Please think of adding some large trees to your lawns; (plant small and watch them grow) the trees will give your somewhere else to go and not all the siding.

are you open to repainting the brick or does it have to stay yellow? If that's the natural color, fine (I thought it was already painted). perhaps a good power washing would help brighten it up a bit. I love the leaded windows off to the right. don't ever change those! normally the stucco portion is light and dark contrasting color goes on the wood trim&shutters. if you could do the brick in a dark gray, you could do something like this (except I'd pick a darker trim color.)

I like the colour scheme you have. Perhaps the grey siding could be a tad darker. I would look into cleaning the white spalling on the brick, redoing the landscaping, and add a roof or shelter over your front door. It's a pretty house that just needs a bit of tweaking. Also, when the time comes to replace the shingles, go for black or very dark charcoal.

Have you ever considered spray painting the red stone along the bottom? There are techniques now that allow that. Companies such as Spary-Net (there are also other such companies) that can do that if you don't want to do it yourself (inquire about how to do it and what products to use). Taking that into consoderation, I show a greige for the stone which will be an even colour once spray painted but it will have a nice texture. I've suggested SW Functional Grey for the 2 doors, garage door, and trim paired with SW Pure White. You can look at the suggestion for ciment walkway paint. I show a new black railing, new front door black sconce, and if possible, install 2 black sconces on each side of the garage door for more detail.

Gutters, soffits and downspouts aren't features you want to call attention to, so you should get them in colors that blend in. The vendor is only going to have certain colors prefinished. See if you can get samples to look at next to your brick. You'll probably end up with something tan. If you're interested in a green in BM, I used Nantucket Gray on my previous house. It's actually green instead of gray.

I would do a taupe, like Rockport Gray, on the siding and a darker taupe, like Roosevelt Taupe, on the windows and trim.

Match the color of the siding to the red brick. Use white trim and dark blue or dark green shutters. Or paint the siding sage green with black shutters. Not all shutters have to be the "right size". Some houses were designed to have narrow shutters as a colorful accent, not to pretend anyone will shut them in a nor'easter.
