What color should I paint the exterior stucco of my house?
Comments (4)I'm just a homeowner but I would also go with middle 1 on top row, it's darker now & I don't care for it, doesn't match as well as the middle top 1 which I think will give the house a warmer look, it blends in beautifully with the brick. Dark color makes the foundation area more "important looking" when brick should be the focal point....See MoreHelp! What should I do to the exterior of my house?
Comments (0)The front of my house is so bland and boring, and I also am not a fan of the concrete block foundation color. I’m looking to give my house an upgrade, but can’t currently decide what to do. I’ve considered adding stone to the foundation and painting the siding a gray color (the current siding is wood). I’ve also thought of just repainting the foundation a different color, OR painting the siding and the foundation one unifying color. So many decisions, and I want to do something I love right away so I won’t have to change it again in the future. Anyone out there have suggestions? :) Also let me add that we just recently moved in and this is our first house. Any other suggestions on sprucing up the outside? I’ve considered adding shutters and window boxes. Any suggestions welcome for this homeowner newbie....See MoreWhat should I do to make my house look more uniform

My dad is an engineer and did the inspection. That being said the areas that need fixing are very obvious and I aim to do that. I have a price to take down three trees in front of the house for 1,000. The others I can handle with a chainsaw. I'll do the painting myself and have a contractor fixing the porch and putting new gutters. The contractor will also install new top cabinets in the kitchen to match the already replaced cabinets on the bottom. That's 5k. Also all the floors will be sanded and poly for about 3k. Does everyone agree that the foundation that's exposed should be dark blue to match all the shutters? I'm planning on sanding and painting the front door the same color as the shutters. I was considering putting the key stone window trim above the front windows as well. I will do a lot of the lawn maintenance myself. I am planning on replacing some of the lighting. And do consider the fans to need replacing. Does everyone agree that the columns can stay as they are? I need to see what happened to make them lean toward the road. If they can be salvaged I can save a lot of money there however I thought 10 inch pillars and a colonial railing and fence would add class to this house. The railing that's there is very water logged and they used siding that doesn't match the house....See Morewhat color(s) should I repaint my house exterior?
Comments (6)I like the color that you have, however, your door doesnt show up very well. I would paint that a much brighter color, so your front entry is more noticable....See Morehoussaon
