Comments (28)I've seen a couple of robins around here since last week, ded - and there was/were a flock of gulls a while ago, but saw none lately. Seldom see any in winter. Thankful that they don't fly near clothesline when clothes hung out. Unusual to hang clothes out in winter, also: they tend to freeze stiff. About half of moisture goes directly from solid to vapour, called sublimation. Dry quickly when later drape over furniture, or hang on line in basement. Haven't been off of the farm in nine days. Comments (11)Jasdip, yours reminded me of when my Mom was getting a hysterectomy and having it done through her v. We thought of all the things we could write for the doc to see...starting with "Remove Sunglasses in Tunnel"...and it deteriorated from there. I can't remember when we laughed harder even though we'd laughed a lot together all our lives. One of the things I miss most is having her around to share our sense of humor. Comments (13)actually, the nest is probably very comfortable .. with the twigs incorporating with the mop threads - helping it to sink into the mop for greater protection - to give it stability ... just susceptible to heavy heavy rain. great vantage point as well....See MoreJasdip
