Comments (16)I want a FAST computer. I'm not into games, music, or videos. Although watching TV, or a DVD would be nice. #1 NEED is to wisk around the web quickly (have NO patience!).- I may be running a website/business. That is not controlled by the computer, it's controlled by the connection you have. You need DSL or "business quality" cable connections. Normal household cable is shared with everyone on the block and it can be very slow. If you plan to run a website/business, I strongly recommend you just pay a few $$ a month for website hosting - siteground.com is a good one with lots of free tools and templates - because setting one up from scratch is a technical nightmare and your thinking a fast CPU = fast internet indicates that you aren't geekish enough to do it. *********** Any computer currently on the market is enough for web, office stuff and viewing DVDs. Buy the cheapest one you can find and pay extra for more RAM (lots more RAM) and a good graphics card....See MoreAdvantium users: Help please
Comments (22)We don't have thread police in this forum. Feel free to start a new thread any time you have a question. You'll probably get more answers. We usually think resurrected threads contain spam--I opened this expecting to flag spam. :) The only good way to cook frozen raw chicken is sous vide. Next best, because it's most like, is low and slow. In theory, the speed function could work, because thermal cooking transfers heat from the outside in and microwave stirs up the electrons to make heat on the inside. The problem is getting the inside heated enough before the outside is ruined. I would trust GE on this, that it's not a good choice. I'm not really thrilled with the quality of the cook of chicken on speed cook even following the directions perfectly. It comes out edible, but the actual fact of speed cooking is antithetical to developing flavor. For the quickie-chickie between getting home and having to leave time for busy schedules, it's kind of a miracle, but rewarmed long form chicken tastes better if one has time to cook it ahead of time. The Advantium defrost settings work well. Why not just defrost first?...See MorePhhotobucket users HELP!
Comments (4)I do hope I can help you. After you click on the picture you want to change the file extension go to "File" at the top of your screen,in the dropdown click on "save as". At the very bottom of the page there will be two white boxes. One is where you type in what you are going to name the file, called "File name". The bottom one says "save as type". To the right of this box is a little checkmark, click on it and it will give you a large popup file. Just highlight the one you want to save your file as. There is jpg, eml, and many, many more. Highlight the one that says jpg, jpg. There are 2 jpg files. At least mine does. Then click on save and your done. Good luck. Charlene...See MoreAll Quartzite countertop users, help please!!
Comments (121)Hi Jeannie Schaldach We love, love, love our Cristallo. Everyone who has seen it has fallen in love with it. In our case, it has been bomb-proof so far. We prepare food, cook, and eat on Cristallo surface. We eat every meal on our island, and we have to young kids who are not too careful. The countertop has been indestructible, so far. No stains, scratches or chips. However, our installer has told me, right after the installation is finished, that the stone can be brittle, therefore we have been very careful to make sure that it doesn’t get hit hard or in a funny angle. And we haven't re-sealed ours yet. I was told by the installer that it won't be necessary. Hope this helps. Cheers~...See Morejmm1837
