I am having cabinets custom painted (polyurethane) BM White Dove. I bought a sample of the paint (you can see the little block I painted with it) and even tried it on the wall and was happy with the warm white color. I just received a paint sample from the painter and it's pulling a lot more yellow/creaminess than I have seen White Dove have before. It looks like the Ikea Grimslov cabinet color that I did not want.

I know since it's a completely different product, it's not going to look exactly the same but I'm not happy with it. The paint has already been purchased but the painter said we could go to the paint store and have them try and correct it. I plan to take my BM sample to match better but was wondering if anyone has any advice on how to direct them to get some of that extra yellow/creaminess out. I definitely don't want a stark white - which is one of the reasons I went the custom color route, but this doesn't look right to me. I am attaching a picture (lighting is not great).
