Comments (11)Your home is BEAUTIFUL inside! What a wonderful job you have done with it! I love the old wooden floors, the crisp white trim, and your modern furnishings. It is lovely. You have done a great job with it. I like the beige/gray walls inside, as well as the gray tones that you have used. Your home could look wonderful painted a blue/gray color, if you want a change. You could experiment with some color on your porch with large black modern style pots filled with colorful flowers. Your yard, as I see it, is mostly paved. So, if you want to bring color there, too, a planter under your front window (with the awning) would be nice. Trust your judgment AND taste. You have both!...See MoreWhat colour should I paint the exterior of my home
Comments (2)Here is a greenish gray with white trim. Your tall arborvitae need to be removed from in front of your windows, which I guessed at the shape in this image. Comments (5)Sorry, didn’t finish because I went searching for an inspiration photo. Consider painting/staining the clapboard and the shingles the same color. You will be staining the shingles and painting the clapboard (recommend B.M. Exterior Soft Gloss), so the finishes will show differently, but the color the same. It’s the fish scale shingles I find so fabulous…those I would stain lighter. Trim all white and your door stays the same. I know it is more than you asked, but give it some thought. You need not paint the entire exterior, Start by painting the clapboard the same as the shingles and going light on the fish scales.....See MoreWhat color should I paint my exterior trim?
Comments (6)I would leave everything white and then have a vibrant, attention grabbing front door! Place a colorful chair on your porch, or pots filled with colorful flowers. My point is…small items that, when you get tired of a “color,” you can change out or vary with the season (wherever you are.). And then…landscaping adds color, too. Plants, flowers, perrenials, flowering shrubs. Your home can be the beautiful, crisp white background for a colorful home. Good luck!...See Morezimmer
