Leaves are now emerging. Ready to transplant these babies!

So this is the year I'm transplanting my fig trees. "Celeste" is going into a large terracotta pot and "Marseilles VS Black" is going into a 10-gallon nursery pot. Anything I need to know before I do it? Figs do well here in N. Florida, and I'd plant them outside, but I really have no room for them anywhere in this tiny apartment yard.

What kind of soil is best? Since they do fine in our sandy soil, and don't seem to be susceptible to nematodes, I thought I'd mix native soil and good potting soil together. Do I need to add anything for drainage, like perlite or put stones in the bottom of the pots?

I'm excited about this! They were growing really well in their 2-gallon pots, so I'm hoping they will continue to grow well in their new homes, although I expect it will take awhile for them to settle in.

Any advice is appreciated. I'm used to only Brown Turkey figs stuck straight into the ground in my native SC.
