The cost of closing off a room

Evan Lange

We are looking to close off a dining room to convert it into a home office. Pretty simple, really, but we haven't done something like this before.

There are two openings extending to the ceiling, so we are thinking to install two pre-hung doors of good quality (~$200 each) and close off the openings above the doors with drywall and plaster, so that they look like they've always been there.

Any idea how much that's going to cost to be professionally done? I've attached a floor plan with the summary of the project.
