Weekly Weigh-in, Week of 7/12/09
Comments (21)Hi hi hi hi hi!!!! So sorry guys. Last week just got a way from me. We're going crazy yard work at our house and I've been exhausted. Still have not exercised since returning but have done lots of heavy lifting, pushing and bending. I figure shoveling dirt for 6 hours should count for something, right? :) EK, I knew what you meant... no retraction necessary :) And maintenance is on my mind... Weight = 131 155/24/? I'm actually pretty happy at 131. I know I said 125, but this is feeling pretty good. I'm still watching what I eat, and want to exercise more, but for now it's about toning rather than loss. I fit in my size 6 pants. I fit in my size 6 dresses. I feel good taking pictures. Actually, it was the wedding pictures that made me feel pretty good about myself. When I saw how I looked (and we all know what the camera does!!!) I realized I don't really need to lose any more. I don't want to be (s k i n n y) if you know what I mean. I want to be fit and lean. I need to post some befores and afters. remind me, ok? Happy birthday to all birthday people. So proud of Ek for the BMI/15lb milestone success!!! WHAHOO!!! Betty, I know what your body was lacking....FOOD :) Harold, I love couscous too!! Everyone is doing so well... so glad to be a part of this team. Have a good week everyone!!!...See MoreWeekly Weigh-in, Week of 11/1/09
Comments (8)Hey Everyone, Harold, that graph is awesome! It really reenforces all of the hard work you've done and what you've achieved. Jas, been there and done that many times. You'll have a better week next week. I have a big weight loss this week, but didn't want it this way. I shopped and cooked all day Saturday for a party at church Sat night. Then at 3:30 am Sunday morning I woke up feeling like I had a very bad case of pneumonia and that someone was beating me in the head and face with a baseball bat. I made it to Monday and DH stayed home and took me to the Dr because I was so weak I didn't feel like moving. Flu test was negative. They gave me an antibiotic shot and a shot for pain and told me to come back today for more. My 6 year old grandson was sick too, so we had back to back appointments today. He tested positive for swine flu. They tested me again and I tested positive for it too. The scariest thing about all of this is my 3 month old grandson has been exposed. And he is too young for the meds. Please keep us in your prayers, especially the Gkids. My weight this week is 154. Can't eat. Betty...See MoreWeekly Weigh-In Dec.5/10 to Dec 11/10
Comments (4)I am not stepping on the scales until Jan. 1, and then and only then will I start on my journey again to be all that I can be .... but lots smaller.. I got 25 lbs. to lose.. (at least).. But now if y'all don't mind my stopping in here this month yet, and cheering y'all on... I was wondering what you each were doing to drop the weight.. Carolyn...See MoreGRATITUDE Friday Dec 21
Comments (8)I'm grateful for the feeling of community I experienced last evening when I joined some friends at a coffee house on Main Street where other friends were caroling. I sat at a little table with a close friend and her daughter, home from college, another friend's granddaughter on my lap. I felt as though I were in Gilmore Girls, gathered at a shop in the center of the village, knowing just about everybody....See More- 7 years agolast modified: 7 years ago
