Monsoon II??
Comments (10)No rain here, just humidity! We also switched from AC to evap and over the weekend woke up to 64 and 65 degrees in the house! bbrrr... had to put blankets *gasp* on the bed! Then, the humidity comes back, it is 78 in the house and the blankets are tossed on the floor as we go back to sheets only! Yeah- rain or get off the... oops, can't say that here! Comments (2)They are the same hood. Zephyr was purchased by Broan a few years ago. These hoods are basically carbon copies of each other with different marketing strategies! The Broan IQ blower claims quieter more efficient performance. Thats about it. I wouldn't stake my reputation to that claim though!...See MoreRange Hood - Zephyr Monsoon Mini experiences?
Comments (1)Since posting, my kitchen designer has talked me into not hiding the hood so much. Now considering 3 that are all about 400 cfm, the max allowed w/o air replacement. Your advice may steer me either to totally reconsider, or to go for the one of the 3 that creates the least air resistance, using baffles instead of mesh. The 3 contenders of the moment are all Zephyr, the Roma with a cabinet above it, Tamburo, and Pyramida. I find the Tamburo the most beautiful, but perhaps the Roma is the most practical choice. It's also quieter....and naturally, more costly! Not significant enough to matter on the cost though....See MoreExhaust Hood Pro Canopy Zephyr Tempest II vs. Elica Calabria vs. ?
Comments (4)Mine is not exactly what you are looking for, but could possible have the same motor? I have a Zephyr Siena Pro 48" 1200 cfm, and absolutely love it! Plenty of power, no too loud, amazing LED lights, easy to clean baffles, 5 min delay shut off function, automatic reminder to clean the baffles. I haven't found a negative in the 7 months that I have been using it (daily). I wok etc...no problems. Be sure to have a 10" duct to keep the power and noise level appropriate....See MoreCasey
