Mirror to go between sconces that are too high.

The sconces over my powder room vanity are at 72" at the base of the bulb. They are high but look nice. The problem is finding a mirror to go between them. I love the Uttermost Dorgali mirror but am not sure if its tall enough at 40" x 28". If I place it 2" above the splash back the top of it sits just below the top of the sconces. I think it would look better higher. How big of a space is ok between the bottom of the mirror and the backsplash? Should I look for a taller mirror? Moving the sconces lower is not an option. They are antique and it was a nightmare just getting them up. Thanks for any advice.
