We also put it in our kitchen and are not having that issue. I try to wipe up water and don’t let it sit for long and it dries out fairly quickly and don’t put anything on the counter directly if oil based. There are small spots from idk what but they are little and have not bothered me. I was worried about rings etc... with this granite. I have been using rejuvenata and granite cleaner to clean counters.
