We plan to paint our front door in a lighter color like Watery by SW. I want it to pop with the medium brown brick ranch home exterior. Do I paint the sidelight and middle trim the same color? Or do I paint it white like the trim on the house?

@Katherine - Take it from a woman who's been married for 39 years that most times men aren't fond of much. They like wood and brick - it's a man thing. I'm glad he's now happy. It will make future products easier when you tell him "remember you didn't want to paint the living room and how great it turned out". Works every time. My husband now just tells me to do what I want. haha.

if the island stays in that general size I dont think the pendants can be oversized or anything like that. here are some slim models [ below] ....itll be nice for you to have a look at a lighting center. there is so much going on w lighting. w regard the floor.....start on that if you want the same thin planks. there may be a product that replicates vintage looks but you may have to pay for it. Back to the cabinet painting.....dont rule out spending a bit more to stack additions up to the ceiling.....it'll make the paint project have a higher value long term for your pretty space.
