I really loved working with Bilotta, especially the particular KD with whom I worked (Tom). I also interviewed a couple of others, including NYKB and Atmosphere. NYKB carried Rutt and Signature which were the two lines I was looking at, as did Bilotta. I chose Bilotta because of the KD. gearing Atmosphere, they carried Signature and one other brand which I don't remember. Their owner was knowledgeable and responsive but their showroom was not quite as appealing. Maybe not the best reason to cross them off, but I had two other good choices, and I preferred Rutt anyway.

Label does say that, but at the SW site I downloaded the pdf sheet for the product, and it is more specific, saying "Do not use over sanding sealers containing zinc stearate". I haven't checked if the ss I have contains that stuff yet. Just curious, because some say that the ss will keep the grain raising in check...?

My IKEA laundry room cabinets have metal drawers. I think they are made by Blum (a low end version of the metabox?) I really like them! In my kitchen I have custom cabinets with white melamine interiors. I have white cabinets so I just went with white. Here is a link that might be useful: Link to different drawer types

That's a lot of work. Sand, prime, sand, prime, lightly sand, paint, lightly sand, paint, meybe do it again. Then do the frames of the boxes. Plus you are gonna get brush strokes so decide if you like that look. Use a good quality brush for the paint, you can roll the primer. Get your paint and primer from an actual paint store and dont buy the cheapest of either- ask the techs opinion. It is a lot of work, but I think it would be cheaper than new doors if you DIYed it.
