HELP! My Boston Ferns are drowning!
Comments (2)Hallo debmarie, As I understand it, your fern stands in a pot. The thing I would do is put it in a bigger pot and plant it in peat. Because your plant is totally soaked with water, don't water it for a few days after replanting. The new layer of peat around the old soil will act like a sponge. Don't forget to put some gravel on the bottom of the pot, it will give you better drainage in the future. Bye, Danny...See MoreHelp my city prevent child drownings. Please vote!
Comments (20)Thanks for all your help. Unfortunately, we did not win. Memphis had a great, professionally made video. The also used computer programs to robo vote. During the last few hours of the voting they overwhelmed the website and it shut down. The contest rules did not explicitly prohibit robo voting so Memphis won. The disappointing thing is that Memphis already has a sophisticated water safety program set up. The grant could have made a huge impact in our small city. Thanks for all your help. Our team had great fun making our homemade video and participating in the contest....See Moremy phalenopsis is dead or almost anythimg I can do
Comments (1)If all the leaves are gone, I'd say you'd be better off using your time to buying a new orchid versus autopsying the corpse. Though there was obviously something severely wrong.....terminally so....See MoreI NEED HELP WITH MY ORCHID.
Comments (4)It is a Phalaenopsis orchid and the leaves look fine. The blooms should last several months after they first open, perhaps the blooms were old when you purchased the plant. See if you can find some complete culture notes written for Greece. Read some of the many past Phalaenopsis threads on this site (put Phalaenopsis in the search box to find them)...See Moreruobet55
