Help in Installing new throttle and wire for craftmen lawn mower
Comments (3)It's broke?I don't think you understood my question or what part I was referring to.Need to replace cable pull-wire.It has a hook at the end of the wire attached to a round hole.I cannot remove that hook. Not sure if i need to disaseeble other parts inorder to accomplish this. The cable is not broke but need to remove it because the new driver throttle i purchased comes with the cable attached.Even if i do cut the hook,(if thats what u meant)will i still be abke to insert the new hook without disassembling other parts? If so then i won't mind cutting it...See MoreNeed Wiring Help to Install Overhead Light Garage Sensor
Comments (6)You are correct that one wire is hot. Still don't have it working since I have only 4 wires and Cooper Wiring's diagrams all have 5 wires. Their advanced wiring diagram which is for the lights located between the 3-way switches shows two sets of 3 wires (this is what I have in the garage), and I only have 2 wires other than the ground wire at one of the switches. Tried to reach their tech department twice, but received no response. I'll attach a diagram of the wiring. One of the black wires in the earlier photo should be red since it's connected to a red wire in the junction box. To see their wiring diagrams, Google: Cooper Wiring OS310U, then click on each of these selections: Single Occupancy/Vacancy Sensor Instruction Sheet (English), OS310U & VS310U Advanced Installation. Hope you can help me find the right way to install the sensor....See MoreInstalled GE Monogram Oven, Electrical Wiring Advice Needed
Comments (4)Thanks. Ronnatalie, the space for the oven is under the counter top. So a double oven is out of question. Also, we came from a double oven to a single oven, so there is already a #8 wire somewhere else in the kitchen that I capped off on both ends (kitchen and sevice panel). Shall we remodel the kitchen again, hopefully not ;), we can always tap into that one. I will pull out the 12/3, put in 10/3 and leave the 20amp breaker in the service panel. Brickeyee, sorry for the terminology. It is a double pole, the two levers are linked and the breaker occupies two slots in the service panel....See MoreProblem with install eng hardwood with photos. Comments (5)Your nailing pressure is probably too high. Lower the pressure on the compressor. Most nailers only need 90 psi. Unless, you're using a Primatech nailer, which requires 100 psi continuos. Also, make sure your nailing schedule is to manufacturer's recommended spacing. Standard is 6-8" spacing but mfg can specify differently. What gauge nails/staples are you using? Thin fasteners can bend, causing a lift. Checking for up and down movement to confirm this. If not any of these, are you sure the flooring is designed for nailing? Maybe only glue or edge gluing allowed for installation method by mfg. Check mfg recommended installation method....See MoreDavidR
