Looking for an affordable good quality Sectional sofa.
Comments (4)Thanks for the feedback. My preference is for a stationary sectional with a traditional look (nothing modern), don't need recliners and want firm cushions due to back issues...I attached a photo of my current couch. It took me 8 months to find the Broyhill and thought we found a gem with the firm Duracoil cushions. This was our 3rd Broyhill and we still have a leather couch that we love and the other one lasted 17 years with a houseful of kids. Broyhill has gone way downhill and the Duracoil technology is a bust! The thought of picking out another couch makes me cringe...off to Pilgrim tonight. We might go with something in leather....See MoreOT: Small sectional sofas?
Comments (12)I have a family room that is off the kitchen too. MY DH loves our Natuzzi. They make many different styles, colors and sizes. I love being able to read near my kitchen. I agree a sofa that you sink into doesn't work when you are reading a cook book with something on the stove. Not knowing your style, colors etc.. I found a few sofas that are apartment size. These tend to be smaller. Rowe is normally large but they do have a few that are small. How about Baers sectional? Bergstorm is a furniture that sells small cozy sofas? Here are some pictures. ~boxerpups...See MoreLarge, Modular Sectional Sofa?
Comments (6)I'm partial to Lee Industries and The MT company - they have a lifetime warranty on both the frame and suspension. Both of these companies have large scale sectionals that could work. The Lee 5392 has both modular and non-modular options. The MT Oliver sectional is very large scale. Use their retailer locator to find someone near you that can help - or if you don't have one near you, I can help with either of these companies....See Morewhat is reasonable pricing for a quality sectional sofa?
Comments (10)IdaClaire I don't want to see businesses shilling their products here. Such posts, under the guise of "helpful advice" degrade the integrity and longstanding intent of these forums (and I've had many years of active forum participation). What's to stop these forums from becoming just one ad after another? Nobody wants that (except perhaps those who only participate in hopes of making a buck). Pros that offer their own products or services in response to a query have a vested and biased interest. It makes me sad that such things are even allowed here. And yes, I do flag this stuff as spam and will continue to do so. There's a lot of poor and amateur advice here on this forum, and I'm in the business going on my 35th year now. I swing by to help out when I can just in the same way I help the lady next door change a flat tire on her car. I have never got a single order off of HOUZZ that I'm aware of. But this is the appreciation given for the professional expertise and experience which is FREE? Vested and Bias interest? <rolling eyes>. My wife says "Why do you even bother with doing that? That's the best use of your time?" At least the lady whose tire I changed will say Thank You instead of telling me I'm out to sell her a brake job....See Morenydiao
