Color Scheme for Bathroom Facelift - cabinets, walls, ceiling

My 1990’s bathroom needs a facelift so I want to change the look by painting the cherry vanity and cabinets, as well as the off-white walls and ceiling. The tub, sink, countertop, toilet, and tile are biscuit. The tile has hunter green accents which I feel limits the color choices, though I love other shades of green. I am replacing the vanity light fixture with a contemporary chrome fixture, and will change the brass knobs/hooks with chrome. Even though I love dark walls I hesitate to do that because there isn’t a window, so the only light comes from the one vanity fixture. I’m intrigued with the idea of doing a large scale stencil treatment on the walls and even the ceiling, but I don’t know how to balance the colors and patterns to tie everything together. What color should I paint the vanity and cabinets? Open to ideas!
