That said, I might remove the shutters from the triple window so it competes less with the entry, and I might widen the shutters on the other windows for better scale (more above, less below). Agree that wider steps and walk would be good so the door with sidelights doesn't look crowded. For landscaping, maybe add a flowering tree (dogwood here, serviceberry if dogwood is not hardy where you are), layered foundation shrubs with more relaxed shapes, and touches of flower color? New siding color? My vote would be the blue-gray, lighter rather than dark if the light gray roof is staying. (That color would complement the brick chimney/steps/walk as well.) Both clapboards and shingles are found on the historic garrisons that this house imitates, so I think either style could work. I probably wouldn't add contrasting trim at the bottom of the overhang but would stick with the historical look. Door could be classic black or a contrasting color, whichever you prefer. I'd keep the white trim, paint the garage doors the siding color.

Without the floor plan, I cannot make realistic suggestions, but this concept attempts to minimize the garage. And I'd consider reducing the width of the porch, and trying to move the windows so they are spaced equally. I would also reduce the size of the gable over the front door by reducing the pitch of the roof and lowering it. I'd make more changes, like removing the transom over the door.

Daylight tends to wash out colors, so the whites you mentioned might be too white. I'm not sure what end result you're hoping for. Your windows are white, so it's possible that one or all of those whites won't look good with your windows. Close, but not quite the same white can be jarring. White on white doesn't work on every house. I don't think it's what I would choose for yours. I wouldn't outline the columns on the front porch this time around, or any of the corners. I would paint your roof trim the same color you choose for the rest of your trim. The faux rafter tails over the arched front window look odd. See if you can remove them before painting. Use the brick as a guideline when deciding which colors to sample. Sampling is very important. Try one of the whites you mentioned to see if you're really going to like it. If not, move on to colors that might seem at first glance to be too dark as they might really be what you want. What you have now looks a little peachy. I assume that's what you want to move away from. I think a lot of BM's Historical colors are great for exteriors.

The back is a totally different feel/style than the front. Be that as it may, I'd pick a yellow-ish off white. Ben Moore's Linen White is a nice color. Or Ivory White.
