Eh, it is CA. trump supporters don't care about CA anyway. The worst of it will be everyone's spelling might go awry. ;)

100 of the CA National Guard deployment will remain at the border to combat drug and gun smuggling.

Trumpisti should be happy with the 100 who remain.

They are only for the trump show anyway. 100 should be sufficient for photo ops.

About darn time - it's not like the National Guard doesn't have other more important things to do than pose for pics intended to 'simulate the appearance of a wall being vital to protection of this border' while massaging the ego of 45.

Instead of pushing for the wall funding, why not focus on the hiring process necessary to get more Border & Customs Patrol qualified boots on the ground? Clearly this is an agency whose intended purpose is to protect/secure our border(s) and getting more people out there working would provide a greater measure of security and protection while *being smart about it!* New employees will need training on the job but they are a better way to ensure that the borders, the airports, the docks, and our waterways are operating as secure as possible using technology and other means in places where a wall does nothing (or worse, puts US lives in danger) to secure anything or anyone.

PS...Maybe consider how private landowners feel about some monstrous ineffective wall being put on their land after said land is taken from them, knowing that such a wall will be useless sacrifice of their private property rights? Or is the right of these private citizen-landowners to be sacrificed to comfort a group - that doesn't even live there - who insists that they must have a specific sort of structure even if the government has to force it on others and at great cost to taxpayers...why, that sounds almost like mandatory vaccinations, gun control, and so forth!
