Pal - I thought same as Annie....Naaaaw not Kincade! I actually really liked the floral painting in your design though. I came across it in one of my searches last night. Humph, but I already forget now the artists name! This is such a great exercise for the mind. Mine has been really REALLY out of shape for years. "Personally embellished". Ha! Now we know his technique for achieving the shimmering highlights of morning dew glistening of each leaf or that diamond glint on a trickling brook. His DNA signed works cost extra. I remember as a teen going to a Kincade gallery. It was in the Mall. It was like walking into a dark cavern. The paintings would have small picture lights above each. But some special works had tiny lights embedded somehow behind the frame so the street lamps and house windows lit up. Now that is realism! Annie - That's awesome! The houzz pics droopy chair is absolutely perfect. Cawaps - I love your interpretation room! The ant on the red half round table is my favorite. I want to try my own, but I am not sure how you guys do these. I am using an iPad. Does anyone know if there is an apple app to make these boards? I will look, but for now I will watch and learn. Love it so much, I had to find more info. on it. It is an updated terrazzo "look". The large scale instantly made me think it was something "new". Googled around... lots of misses until I typed in large scale painted terrazzo floor. I also thought it might be something new and interesting done with inkjet printing for tile. Anyway, first link was for an article about terrazzo making a comeback only large scaled....at apartment therapy.... right there on the page, there it was...lol, it says in the text, "This is maybe a bit much, but there's something undeniably cool about this bathroom tiled in a designer terrazzo called Marmoreal by dzek." Haha... it being a bit much is exactly why I love it! It is called Marmoreal... and it is an engineered marble in resin... real marble. I followed the links and see that it is made in London.... also, got the feeling that it would be way out of my price range...yup. Found a cheese board made out of it..a stinking cheese board costs 250 bucks! I think RockyBird could do something absolutely fabulous with this Marmoreal for her new bath. I've used Saatchi Art ( https://www.saatchiart.com/), which has art in a variety of sizes at a variety of price points. If your budget is more toward prints (though depending on the medium and the artist, original art can be pretty affordable), Great Big Canvas (https://www.greatbigcanvas.com/) or iCanvas ( https://www.icanvas.com/) sell large size prints in a variety of styles. Also, give IRL art shopping a chance. Galleries, art fairs, or the rotating artwork at you local cafe give you a chance to support local artists. I have many pieces from a local studio that provides space and services to disabled adults. There are also student art shows. I know it's more work than the internet, where you can look at hundreds of pieces in an hour and easily filter by price and size, but local shopping is rewarding and supports artists directly.
