damp mopping-please explain?
Comments (6)Damp mopping implies a slightly wet once-over with a non saturated mop that does not require rinsing or drying, with just enough water to dry quickly, no soap. Kind of like sponging down the counters. Swiffer wet is the same idea. I use Swiffer wet towels with my dry swiffer handle (not the wet-jet), which is like damp mopping, and I even use it on my wood floors. I find it very effective (after sweeping is best as recommended above), and you could even just use a damp microcloth with the handle instead of buying the swiffer cloths, as someone had suggested here. If you need to do this daily (bummer!!) then I suggest the swiffer stuff, either the wet-jet or the wet cloths for convenience....See MoreGap between wall cabinet and floor... Picture will explain!

The high cabinets never line up with the uppers unless you lower your uppers or raise up the high cabinet. I would say your best option is to just buy a piece of flat stock moulding at your local home improvement store and use that. It's cheaper than buying an IKEA cover panel and ripping a 6 inch strip....See MoreLRV - Please explain
