Not my photo: It just tugs at my heart. The owner of this old barn is going to level it. This old tom cat, missing half an ear(Not notched...missing) is living under it. He's fat from ALL the voles he's catching. I posted on Nextdoor asking if anyone wants a barn cat ....hopefully someone wants him. If she has no takers, I've offered to take him in, as an outdoor cat.

I agree, Annie! Who would think “animals looking” could be a theme! I like your photo at the beginning. It could have any number of captions.

What a great photo of the robin.

Reminds me of the time I was sitting on the back porch and watching crows fly by. One of the crows did something I've only seen in book illustrations - it turned and looked over its shoulder as it was flying.

Ding ding ding!! You got it! She had such a sweet face. This was years ago when she was grand marshal of the Rose Parade in Pasadena.

Thank you, schoolhouse! Hundreds of them showed up one February day a couple of years ago, hung out for about a week and then left. It was the wrong time of year for robins; I think unseasonably warm weather may have confused them.
