I am no design expert so I am sure others will chime in that have more experience than me. Since you said your floor tile is already busy, and you want to go with a busy skinny brick backsplash, on the wall that has the range and hood, I would only put that skinny brick behind the stove and hood and go straight up to the ceiling. I personally would not do the entire wall with that tile. Y'know that saying "too much of a good thing"? That's what I think of when you say you want to tile the entire wall. The tile looses it's uniqueness (is that such a word?) when it's everywhere. Plus, if your floor is busy, and your countertops will be busy with granite, and your wall is super busy, your eye will be drawn to all these different surfaces and textures. It's not a soothing look. All three textures will be competing with each other. The wall with the sink....does it have a window in it? Are the cabinets on that wall? Again, I would not tile the entire wall, only up to underneath the cabinets (assuming there are some there). I personally would have one texture be the focal point, whether it be the countertops, backsplash or floor. I really love the tile around the fireplace so I personally would choose that as the dominant texture and have the other surfaces more soothing, if that makes sense. When you mention painted crown moulding, I am assuming you mean on the walls and not on the cabinets. I think you would be fine with white above the cabinets since the cabinets do not go up to the ceiling. I have also seen crown moulding on top of tile, should you decide to tile the entire wall. I decided to keep the larger tile to create a bigger feel in the kitchen...like I said it's the smallest kitchen I've seen (barring a retirement home!) but I'm considering going UP the corner wall space maybe 2 rows difference from the backsplash under the cabinets and then adding my 30 inch rustic shelves on either side (possibly staggered OR resting on the top of the tile where it ends on the wall on both sides (not sure which way I want to do it...again, it's a visual thing for me), and then using the coordinating paint further up the wall for a little pop. Will determine if I go up the extra 2 rows based on where the pendant light hangs down to.

I purchased my counters over a year ago. I had to go to a warehouse where the slabs are imported to off the ships, to find these. There were only 4 slabs left and after my bookmatch set was sent to the fabricator, & the guy there said everyone was asking about purchasing my slabs and they were told where I got them, so id be really shocked if there was more of my counter stone available. Everyone at the warehouse and fabricator said it was a very unique stone blend / design. Idk if it would be worth the time/energy to track down and then would it even be a true match...

Hi. Nice home! I would 1) Have the crown molding on the cabinets changed, so that the crown reaches the ceiling 2) Have. shelving unit added to right side of the window so that you have an ending point for the tile. Would be a convenient place to have glasses anyway. 3) I'd remove the small backsplash and add a coppery-toned tile. As far as the paint color, it depends on the other elements in your home and your furniture. I don't find the paint color objectionable, but you may want something else?
