Light or Dark; Hexagon or Herringbone for Bathroom Floor

I am unexpectedly updating our guest bathroom. I decided at the last minute it was a good idea to just add it onto the kitchen reno. I am now in mid-level panic. We are not changing the vanity, countertop, mirror, light fixture above vanity or toilet. We are removing the soffits, changing floor, replacing the tub, shower fixtures, adding white wood paneling to the long blank wall, adding additional lighting, painting and changing cabinet or going to open shelving.

I am set on doing a white subway tile from the tub to the ceiling, either with grey grout or charcoal grout. I have to decide on floors this week and get them ordered,

My husband dashed my dreams, he has an intense dislike for encaustic tile. He also dislikes any small mosaic tile. I am now trying to decide between the 6" carrara hexaagon, dark grey herringbone or hex.

Any other suggestions about my plans are welcome
