Paint Building a Home Design Dilemma

Paint: BM Simply White walls with Super White trim

Anyone done BM Simply White walls with BM Super White trim? If so, how does it look? I don’t want to use Super White in a different sheen on the walls. Would like something a bit warmer for the walls, that is why I was thinking Simply White but maybe something else would work better? I want something soft, pretty, and neutral for almost all of a new house interior. Suggestions? Thank you!

I love simply white but in a bright interior it looks very white. I really really love ivory white for walls if you want something softer, but I’m not sure if that’s what youre going for

Ivory white sounds good. Is that BM ivory white? Still with BM super white trim? Any photos? Thanks very much!

I am using BM Decorators White. No reason except it's not white-white & many designers that I have read on-line have always referenced it in their work/portfolio. In real light it provides enough of a pop without being 'torch your eye' white! Sorry - that is the only words of wisdom i have & no magic formula or template. :)

oops, I just saw this & was going to suggest you add a little Grey Owl to white so that the ceiling wouldn't make the trim disappear. It sounds luscious!

First I would do the ceiling the same color as the walls I like matte for walls and ceilings and then a satin for trim as for the cabinets they will need to be done by an actual cabinet refinisher with conversion varnish so you can go the same color but they will look a bit different every time you change the sheen the color catches the light differently so keep that in mind. I am not sure why the cabinets need painting , I actually love the way the paint is now in the house.

@Dawne, you don't bother me. Ask as many questions as You need. Most are 6" ( upper cabinets and some smaller drawers ) and 8" on longer drawers.

Yes, ivory white is a bum color. My bathroom is ivory white walls with super white trim. I wish I had done this as my whole house color.
