This morning looking at them I really like the sw anew gray.... the rest of the house is a Butter yellow color and cabinets are a creamy white, I fee like grays go with yellows?? Warm grey not blue grey of course

Grays in general go with plenty of colors including yellows of course..if one pictures gray sky and gray sea for example..it's not like you'll see something against gray skies or gray water and think "oh it clashes"))

It's just that it's easy in nature(but of course)), easier with decor, more complicated with hard semi-permanent surfaces like stones and tiles. because stones and tiles, they have this strong character that gets especially capricious in a house. They want to dictate, so to say. They want to choose their neighbors. Wall colors are easier, in that regard.

I do like this gray with your floors..the granite, even though it's in a different room, would push me to seek warmer color yet.

I’m struggling with what kind of warm color, i definetly don’t want a brown, i dI’d try a color ca almond butter and just seemed too close to the yellow but not the same making it feel off, I’m hoping to have some contrast between The two rooms....

I'd look for a white..the one that you'll like...it exists somewhere..or..warm green can be nice..depending on whether you'd like to check this direction

I went with anew gray but not sure if I like it.... ugh.... our sofa is cream/beige so I will see how it all looks together before I decide to repaint. These floors are throwing me off a bit.
