We also purchased a home with some downright weird spaces. I'd use it for storage. Yours is weirder than ours! OMG! We were amazed that there was a door in the closet that went to a small room (no standing up straight) with a window and a door to a view deck, and a door to attic storage. Our weird place will have a cot and lots of toys for the Grand Kids. Yours is really weird. Our builder lost the house to drugs. It's how I explain the weirdness......... Good luck! Suzi

Get rid of the two chairs, as you said. Move the printer to the right of the window where there is an outlet. Do you need a special table or center for your crafts or do they happen at the desk? If at the desk, then I would bring the TV back and set it on a credenza where you now have the printer. Then get a nice, comfy pair of swivel, rocker recliners and float them out in front to watch TV, read or relax. Don't let them get too big and bulky or puffy though. Keep a low profile with them.

The room is approximately 12 x 14 feet. There is an additional 6x 8 foot walk-in closet. The ceiling is peaked like an attic space. Approximately 25 feet in the middle down to 10 feet at the wall.

Hello Nicole, You have so many wonderful suggestions to choose from. The IKEA one is right on. They are Scandinavian indeed. A blank canvas can be daunting but also a lot of fun because you can do anything you like. Here are our questions: How many people will be using the room daily? How many guests will you want to accommodate? Can you give us measurements of the room? You can just draw them out on a piece of paper and post it. That usually works.
