Do you Pat Down The Soil?
Comments (1)yes, i pat down slightly then water the soil thoroughly. then i make a little hole for the seed, plant the seeds, and put a little soil on top. then i mist with water to keep moist. I wouldn't worry too much about patting the soil down compactly. Remember these plants reproduce in the wild and that soil is compacted and hard kendra...See MoreSt Pat's centerpiece-how did I do?
Comments (18)Mona - I love your table. I've been away, and missed the all of the gals' new things:(. I love your pewter. I collect pewter and am forever having a time of it trying to make it work. Your table is gorgeous and I like both the red (I am a red person) as well as the yellow flowers. Either look great to me. Great Job!!!!! I am in a twist now since I will be hosting Easter dinner, and I will be trying to make the pewter work for Easter. I am going to post some pics with a question on another thread. Lovely table and I hope you have a great St. Patrick's celebration!...See MorePat Benatar @ Walker, MN....
Comments (11)Yes, crazy, spur of the moment events are the best. I just went the other weekend in TN to see Pat Benatar & reo. We had a blast. We had a table & it was so much fun. We were able to bring coolers with alcoholic beverages & there was a tent (air conditioned, thank goodness) that had a bar & buffet for people that have a table. I'm spoiled now. I danced my arse off to "Love is a Battlefield" - that was the video on Mtv & I thought she was the BEST! I thought she looked great, too. Enjoyed singing along with Reo. In August we are going to hear Blondie & Cheap Trick. Can't wait to see Debra Harry - she is a cool woman rocker, too. I'll get to see my bartender that told me "I was a weapon of marriage destruction!" Ha ha....got my little middle aged ego stroked for the nite. LOL But bartenders do make good friends:) We are doing these concerts as a "girls nite out" - getting a designated driver & partying like we were in college again!! Smiles:)...See MoreThank you Pat_T for Frozen Lemon Torte Recipe
Comments (6)Oh I wish I'd thought to take a photo -although now that I think of it, I think someone did take a "desserts spread" pic...I'll have to track it down. Did you end up doing something besides meringue on top? I popped mine under the broiler for exactly one minute -and it was so beautiful! I think my lemon part was a bit yellower than yours, but that may be just the photo. Thanks again for a real keeper!...See MoreElmer J Fudd
