Do you have to have the 2 extra cabinets the exact same size? Assuming a 30" fridge, you've only got a total of 4 feet of free counter space, and splitting it evenly into 2 x 2 foot cabs either side of the stove doesn't give you a very useful prep space. I'd be tempted to do R/F, 12" tray cab with one drawer on top, stove, 36" pot drawer cab, sink, DW. That gives you a 3-foot prep area between the sink and stove, and I think 2 large 36" pot drawers will be a lot more useful than 4 small ones.

Hi, We have a 36 subzero fridge and a 36 freezer that are humming away in their 17th year with us. We moved them to our new place and because of our kitchen reno and the size of our compact kitchen , we have to buy more a narrow fridge and freezer. We will be getting a 30" fully integrated all fridge . And, because we have the other freezer not all that far away, we opted for the 18 inch all freezer, which can still store a flat pizza box! Aside from the the longevity, food lasts longer in a sub-zero. Now with new ozone function , food is supposed to last even longer. I will know once we will try using it. Our reno will be finished by the end of Sept. I feel very privileged to have lived with sub-zero all fridge and freezer. There is a minimum of stooping. The easy access to the all fridge and all freezer is a pure joy. The 24 in depth is also important as I don't lose food in the back of the fridge or freezer. The storage is amazing. We are not paying for style in the inside, we are pay for the longevity and efficiency. My neighbour has a 36" Melee with the freezer on the bottom and can't easily fit in large cartons of milk. By the way when you replace your subzero you can apply for 5% off the price of the replacement appliance(s). Re induction cooktops. I used a 1 burner induction hob for two years. I loved the ability to set the cooking mode and walk away. knowing as the cooktop would turn itself off . I did not appreciate how to set the timer, and suggest that you look into how the different models set the time. I loved the rapidity of heating food. And yes, the top was easy to clean. I had to get all new pots and pans but he price has come down for them. Still it is an added expense if you don't have the appropriate cookware. I did do some looking at induction cooktops for our new kitchen, and I ended up choosing to go for gas for multiple reasons. I would have been interested in the induction brands that had the whole cooktop activated by the pan and note be restricted by the size options of most induction cook tops. Hope this helps. (-:

I'm considering the same lineup! I already purchased the refrigerator as our previous one died. I went with the Kitchenaid 5 door. I love the layout and the full depth. It has the filtration system and things are lasting much longer in it than the previous side by side that came with the house. I did have a problem at first. After the installation was complete, including removing all the doors to get it through our kitchen doorway and reinstalling them, the protective film was removed from the door fronts. There was significant patterning in the stainless! To be nice I told the store to just replace the problem doors, but this was a bad mistake. The computer is in the door and it never linked properly to the icemaker. We had water dripping inside daily. After many trips out from warranty repair, KitchenAid replaced the unit. I've never had a problem with the new one at all. Moral of the story: don't try to be nice! What has drawn you to the Wolf or Miele wall oven? I'm fairly short and am considering a side swing door or french door. I don't want the menu driven controls of some. I am also wondering if I really need the 30 inch rather than a 27 inch with this huge 36 in gas oven. Interested in hearing your process to decide.

Can't really make great suggestions for small appliances. But I do want to warn you that most small dishwashers have mediocre consumer satisfaction. I think it's just a result of trying to fit a spinning arm into a small space. Make the space sufficiently narrow, and things just don't work too well. If you can find the space for full 24" width, you'll likely be much happier. I love the idea of using your outside grill for most of your cooking. We use our grill quite regularly and it is such an underrated appliance. One key improvement was replacing the manufacturer's grates with GrillGrates™. I don't want to sound like a shill, but I was amazed how much more functional it made my grill. I no longer have to worry when cooking fattier cuts of meat. There simply isn't any chance for flare ups. I can cook small cuts of meat or vegetables without them falling into the grill. I can even make fried eggs or pizza. I can cook fish without it sticking to the grates. And they aren't lying when they say that you get a better crust and perfect grill marks.
