replace bar faucet with pull down kitchen faucet
Comments (1)Install the faucet in one hole, a coordinating soap dispenser in the other hole, or a hot water dispenser or RO water dispenser, whatever dispenser is useful for your function of the sink. Drilling a third hole between the existing holes isn't going to work. With two appliances installed, the off center won't be noticeable because as a group they will be centered....See Morereplacing faucet
Comments (2)You can get a little button that fits in the hole. It's not awful, and certainly better than a sidespray. :) And (I just picked one out last night with the same issues) if you don't mind the base plate thing (escutcheon), many of them come with one to use or throw away. That'll hide your extra holes. Go to a site like faucetdepot dot come and just browse. You'll find something. And yes yes you need a pullout or (my preference) a pullDOWN. Maybe something like this Delta one, with a soap dispenser for your spare hole. Real price should be much less.... Here is a link that might be useful: delta...See MoreAdvise me on kitchen faucet replacement or, what do you recommend?
Comments (30)I have Sensate and I have had it almost a year. The sensor is in the curve of the neck of the faucet. By raising your hand up into the curve, you will activate the on/off. It doesn't matter where you stand since the sensor is in the curve not facing you, per say. I can stand on the other side of the island to activate the faucet as long as my hand can reach to the curve of the faucet. My hose will go to the bottom of my sink and to the far corner of the shelf of stages 33. I have it center mounted. Once it wasn't behaving quite right. I checked and the plug had come out of the plug just a little because of the long hose hitting it. Once I re-seated the plug, all was well. The spray is very handy/powerful in preparing dishes for the dishwasher and sweeping debris to the disposal. If I cook pasta or potatoes, the heavy steam will activate the sensor, turning it on or off. To avoid that, just press the lever into the off position and there won't be any water until you activate the faucet again using the lever. There is a tiny indicator light on the hand lever that indicates sensor function is on and ready to go. I keep mine off unless I am cooking/cleaning. BTW, amazon has some Kohler on daily deals if anyone is preplanning....See MoreSuper basic question: kitchen faucet replacement
Comments (5)Get a single lever faucet for the middle which will can come with a matching soap dispenser. Install a matching garbage disposal button; less than $100.00. Three holes filled. A good granite guy can pull repair material from the back of one of your splashes and fill a hole or two, but that can be pricy. These can't be seen when standing at the sink: You can replace your sink with one with a faucet deck and all unused holes are eliminated: If that 15-year-old has been leaking, the nut may be oxidized to the shaft; you'll only get it off with a grinder with a diamond blade. Don't touch the deck when you do, or drop the sink and cut it off from underneath....See MoreRachiele Custom Sinks
