Should I add hardware to my cabinets?

I am battling on whether or not to add hardware to my grey kitchen. I totally don't want to be one of those people who takes a perfectly good thing and ruin it with a bunch of crap. I sorta want to add hardware to my cabinets and at the same time I do not want to. I have been shopping around and there is nothing that catches my eye. I did run across some pull drawer hardware that was like a crystal clear modern but I honestly have no idea. I then began to search Instagram for others who have the same floor plan as I do. I came across only one person who put hardware on their cabinets that are like mines and looked pretty nice. What do you guys think? to add hardware or not ? also this will not be my forever home, and we will be moving in a year or two. Whatever I add, I need to make sure it is appealing to buyers.

Do you have an estimate yet? I was flabbergasted to learn the cost of adding dormers to a Cape Cod a few years ago, so it's worth considering other options. Many of the suggestions above look much better suited to your home than the proposal from your designer. Especially the ones that remove the main portico, which seems to throw the whole house out of balance and may be part of why you feel a need to add more fiddly bits to the roof.

I think it depends on the overall look you'd like. For a cleaner or minimalist look, and for those flat panels, no molding or a flat, or possibly cove, molding may be suitable. I didn't like mine without the molding, but it's an old house and a traditional kitchen. Plus I didn't want to deal with any dust (and pet hair!) accruing up there. reno in progress pics

IMO the wall hanging is not really highlighted on that wall a pice of art with some color would be better there or paint the wall an accent color to make the hanging stand out. Maybe one of the dark colors from the FP. The bottom of the haning 6” from the top of the sofa will be good. I don’t think it is too small.

Nice job mocking up. The color of the light gray porcelain looks wrong with the counter (though who knows in real life). I am in the camp of "keep the backsplash simple and let the counter be the star," so I would avoid fancy shapes like the Nabi Harlequin. The Nabi Harlequin also seemed too starkly white for the counter in the mock-up. I think a light-ish color pulled from the tile (it seems like there are a lot of colors in there so this shouldn't be limiting) in a simple shape. Not too small, but it doesn't have to be 3x6--larger could be nice.
