Need new bathroom faucets that will complement polished brass
Comments (3)I would replace it with brass so it matches or is closely coordinated. If I were a potential buyer I would wonder if the non-matching faucets were a quick fix. I think this is one of those situations where keeping the finishes the same is more important....See Moredo they make bathroom faucets with a wide base?
Comments (7)forboystoo - thanks for the link to that site. I'll poke around over there. Here's what I have and want to replace: (note - this is as it was with the previous owner's stuff in it.) The area around the knobs, where they go into the hole in the sink, is not in good condition and I would love to hide/cover it because I can't replace the sink. My knobs are 2.5" at the base so I figured maybe they make some with a 3" base which would had the messed up part. I'm probably making it more difficult than I need to. I excel at that. :)...See MoreDoes the Gold/Brass finish on bathroom faucets last?
Comments (7)I’m considering that finish also. If you wipe daily with water, it will not damage the finish. If i slip from my water only routine, I might add some dish soap to my cleaning cloth to clean any accumulation, then resume water only routine. It would not be as easy if you have hard water but I have no recommendations as I solved that problem with a water softener. Right now I have the old time polished brass and they look brand new with water only routine. Handles do have scratches from daily use but you’d have to look closely to notice....See MoreBrass finish faucets in bathroom
Comments (3)Hey lmj916, I agree with Jan! Matte Black would contrast Nicely from the Brass in my opinion! If you are considering different vanity hardware I would take a look at what Century Hardware has to offer! Best wishes!...See MoreNancy in Mich
