Reusing Old Kitchen Cabinets in Basement- Need Ideas!
Comments (3)We took some old cabinets out of our cabin and used them in my studio, I painted them with a dark blue, and copper paint, using a rag roll method, We put them along one wall, and I now have storage for my supplies. If you have a space that is open, start there, even drawing how you might want to use them. If its in the laudry room, or even for stuff that you keep in storage most of the time. We also got some old cabinets from my work and put them along the long wall in the garage, uppers and lowers, they now serve as a storage for kids sports equipment, car stuff, and animal treats. Along with my own paint sprayers, and chemicals...See MoreLayout ideas for basement bar space
Comments (6)I'm a total cocktail nerd, so keep this in mind. If you spend any time on Reddit, check out barbattlestations for some ideas. Depending in your budget, I would get a decent undercounter fridge with a small freezer compartment and space to stand up opened bottles. Then a small ice maker either undercounter or countertop. You need to have space to store the countertop model when not in use. Make sure in those cabinets you have a few drawers. This makes it easier to store and access small things like corkscrews, hand juicers, small measuring cups, etc.. I don't know how old you are, but while beer is your focus now you may morph into enjoying wine and cocktails just as much. We were total beer drinkers when we first got married and have now switched out a lot of our beer gear to accommodate new things. You have way more space than we had so it should be easy to have a versatile set up from the start....See Morekitchen breakfast bar chair ideas

Comments (0)We’re planning our basement bar and we’re basically having a galley kitchen line-up of counter ht base cabinets and no upper cabinets. We’ll have a few open shelves on one side. Bar height seating off one of those sides. The curveball- someone mentioned doing 12” depth cabinets under the bar height side opening toward the stools. Obviously great storage but does anyone think this will make the bar ht top too deep?thanks!...See Morewhaas_5a
