Will I regret mirrored panelling in the master bath....
Comments (8)thanks for the kind words, mydreamhome. i'm laughing at your anticipation for learning of our tub. if it were up to me i'd do a vintage cast iron tub painted pewter on the outside with a gorgeous handspray attachment and nickel faucet. but, i'm not a bath person and my husband thinks he's going to be once we move, so i let him choose the tub. he chose some sort of air jet jacuzzi that will be built in with a marble apron and hopefully some beautiful woodwork above the entrance to it to sort of set it apart from the rest of the room. to answer your question about the mirror paneling, i have no idea if we should do it everywhere. i'm terrified it will look dated or look like a fun house in there causing us headaches every time we're in the room. my mother just reminded me what a pain it will be to clean all those mirrors. haha. i'd love thoughts on where we should put the mirrors or other ideas for wall treatments. thanks....See MoreHave a mirror de-fogger? How is mirror attached to wall?
Comments (0)Our glass guy comes next week to install our shower glass and a large bathroom mirror over the vanity. We have two Clear Mirror panels which will be attached to the back of the mirror before installation. My glass guy assures me that he can mastic right over the Clear Mirror panels and attach the mirror to the wall that way. Is that right? If you have a de-fogger, is your mirror mastic'd to the wall or did you have it hung so it is not flush with the wall?...See Moremirror panels
Comments (1)I just read about this in the Dec 07 BH&G mag, the pic is fantastic. It looks so lovely. I think if you don't have a real long table you could even use a good size round mirror on a round table, with or without a frame and it would just as lovely. The candle light flickering off the mirror is awesome. Sal...See MoreMedicine cabinet mirror panel replacement?
Comments (9)I have a medicine cabinet with three mirror doors. They measure 10"1/2 x 26" each one is beveled and it sits in a small sleeve at the top and bottom of each one a small screw holds it in the sleeve. They slide in. Very easy to replace. I just can't find them anywhere. I bought the medicine cabinet about 15 years ago at Home Depot. Now I can't find it there....See MoreBrenda Yeo
