Apparently some are now considering using propiconazole based fungicides. In previous discussions I have used the term "Beta Tester" for those who decide to use a spray product that (I feel and try to document) is considered a questionable product as indicated by reviewed scientific studies of possible concern. The reason for using this term is that some/many feel that the U.S. Government allows chemical products to be put on the market before sufficient safety testing is completed. Because of this behavior the term "Precautionary Principle" was developed. Carolyn, I read a couple some years ago. I must check and see if my library has reprints. I am reading my books slowly at present, there seems to be so many other things to do, like dropping off to sleep! My D gave me a small CD player for Xmas with handy top buttons. Just right for listening to recorded favourite books. I have been accumulating some in case of being confined to bed or having the eye operation for cataracts. I am doing a Scarlett O'Hara on that!

I now have roses that can cope with such variation of heat and cold .Took me long time to find roses like horses for courses . John Cabot too makes a wide rambler on pergoda frame . With out them my rose garden would be bare or cut right back to take half summer to reach a good tall plant .Summers are 100f in July . June is best month for building in garden s. Summer goes on to end of October. Autumn tree colours November December .Worse month February . Im English used to hardly any winters and cool summers .Took some time to find my garden needs in rural wild Latvia

I haven't had Yves Piaget for many years, and mine was always a small and gangly bush that for some reason didn't prosper, but the flowers were so beautiful that I've never forgotten them. They were just simply dramatic, large and frilly, and it was a rose you could spot at quite some distance and that beckoned you to come closer.
