Neem doesn't work exactly the same as Hort oil, it works better, because in addition to smothering the adults, it also is a growth regulator that stops the larvae or nymphs from growing into the next stage of life, and then they die, soon. Without reproducing, yay! So you get a two for one knock back with Neem oil. But the affect is not long lasting beyond a week or so, you'll need to check the label for how long, I forget exactly. So you do need to apply it a few times. Great stuff!

You have citrus leaf miner, it's a cosmetic issue. The leaves that were affected still work they just aren't pretty. You can treat with neem oil and spinosad. The damage is done already though so all you can do is treat for future citrus leaf miner attacks. Evan

Browning of many very young fruits is normal with citrus. But I don't know whether this is the case here. (To be honest, it's challenging to manage potted plants. Such plants should receive hazardous pay and, if the plant is growing well, the gardener should receive a medal.) Your "slime trails" on the leaves are instead leafminers -- not a good thing. Sevin won't help. (Likely someone familiar with treatment for citrus leafminer will soon come along.) The chewed leaves may be due to the larger caterpillars you found earlier. And although I should remember the name of the smaller one you pictured, I don't. (sigh) Again, likely someone else will know.
