Wall Oven: Wolf vs. Miele
Comments (1)Both designs are pretty new and unproven, so it's doubtful you'll find many user reviews of either model. However, I would lean towards Miele due to their better track record. Miele in the past had temperature regulation issues, but these were 100% fixed with new software a few years ago. Wolf has had issues with the blue enamel chipping ever since they introduced it in their ovens, search past posts on this forum for more info. The M series has a removable bottom but nobody is sure whether that will be a true solution to the problem....See MoreWall oven assistance to match Wolf range
Comments (1)How do you use your oven? I would avoid the Wolf E because of the blue porcelain chipping issue. Hopefully the M has been redesigned to fix it but it hasn't been out long enough to know for sure....See Morewolf vs thermador dual range 48"
Comments (3)I've got the Thermador 48" steam range (with 12" griddle). The steam oven is completely worth it and puts it in a totally different class than other 48" ranges (unless you are getting a seperate wall steam oven). There are some minor issues, like the oven fan is pretty loud and runs a long time after it's off and the simmer burns click on and off occasionally but overall very happy with it....See MoreInduction ranges with minimal to no off-gassing
Comments (2)Some or maybe all electric ovens are shipped with forming or protective oils still coating their sheet metal. Normally one heats them up according to directions and bakes off the oils while running sufficient ventilation. After that the odor should be minimal. I can no longer remember whether there was any post-bake-out odor "tail" for my Wolf wall ovens. However, I did oven bake-out cycling at sequentially higher peak temperatures to lower risk of blue enamel failure, so the bake out lasted for a large part of a day for each oven. Maybe @opaone has actually measured this. None of my induction cooktops has had an odor issue....See MoreKim G
