Yes! So happy that we went with this option. The ergonomics are so much better (no more hunching over washing out paint rollers and trays!), it looks so much nicer and cleaner, and it is so functional for soaking dirty clothes! I searched long and hard for something both big enough and economical enough for my smallish laundry reno. I thought at first I wanted a larger sink and thought I wanted it pretty deep, but am so happy with my 20x20x8d overmount. More than enough room to soak father-son white baseball pants in oxyclean! There was a Delta pull-out in our house when we bought it. It functioned fine but I disliked the awkwardness of using it. Something about the way you had to hold it to use it in certain situations bothered me. The handle was just clumsy feeling sometimes. If I wanted to turn the head or clean the sink and turn my hand, the handle got in the way of the hose, etc. When we renovated we replaced it with a Kohler Vinnata pull-down. I much prefer the pull-down. It's just a natural, more ergonomically correct way of using a faucet in my opinion. I like that you grip the whole head of the faucet with your whole hand and that's it...no handle to fiddle with also. And no, if the faucet is made correctly, they don't dangle. We've had ours for six years now. It retracts perfectly, doesn't tangle and always goes back in just fine. What Frankoma states above about a pullout, stands for a pull-down also. I can fill my coffeepot or my stockpot on the counter with my pull-down just fine. It doesn't just pull DOWN, you pull it down and out too. :)

Often single-hole faucets will come with an escutcheon (a cover plate or a deck plate) that's intended to cover the extra holes in a three-hole sink. If you do get a single-handle faucet, get one with the handle on the right if you're a righty; I put mine on the left and discovered that's wrong. Because I *hold* whatever it in my LEFT hand, and use my right to scrub, squeeze, get the soap, turn on the water, etc. I will say I like the single-handle, because you can adjust the temperature while one hand is busy, and because you can easily memorize which position is "lukewarm." You can get "warmish" with a single hand motion (this was important to us bcs our apt bldg's hot water is REALLY hot, and it would be hard to figure out where was the comfortable temperature. Too bad they don't make the Kohler Avatar anymore (especially the Avatar Pro!). it would be perfect for you. I have the regular Kohler Avatar, and I'm thinking that if I ever sell my home, and I'm going to write into the contract that it comes with me. Though this one is a pretty good approximation! So there's a lot more clearance -under- the faucet. So as you're picking, focus on the distance between the lowest part of the faucet, and the top of the countertop. You might look into a pullDOWN faucet, but those are often very tall, and then there might be a clearance issue when they come back down. One other note: Don't cheap out. you will use that faucet so much, and if you can at all swing it, go for higher quality even if it's a little more money.

Personally, I like the looks of my Kohler bathroom faucet way better than my Grohe kitchen faucet, but I would never, ever want to use my bathroom faucet in the kitchen and I have a relatively huge bathroom faucet (a Kohler Purist tall -- with a non-vessel sink). You also have to consider scale and functionality. The faucet should look in scale with the sink. Bathroom faucets are usually in scale with ~20" sinks. Kitchen sinks are 50% bigger so kitchen faucets are bigger. Yes, some are ridiculously bigger, but most are just 'in-scale' bigger. Almost all kitchen faucets have a longer reach than bathroom faucets. You need that to get pots and such under the faucet and for good rinsing. Sure, you can get around that by having a separate spray, but that would be a pain to have to fill up your pots with a sprayer, huh? I guess, kinda like that commercial, you can take your bathroom faucet to a kitchen designer and say 'build my kitchen around this' and see what you get.
