Comments (4)I am in the same boat too! My 50s Ranch has original hardwood and we just did an addition so that is slab. I think the contractor wanted to save money so he said to keep the original floors and add plywood to the slab so they are all at same height of 3/4 inch. Then we can float vinyl planks. Now I am getting second thoughts that the original floors should be torn out and plywood put everywhere! Would love to hear what your doing. Comments (13)I have been living with the acorn color for two weeks now on my second floor. I am more traditional, like you are. The floor installer said he liked working with this product and the quality was excellent. It looks very nice and it is comfortable underfoot, easy to clean and doesn’t show dirt.
