It is a newer roof from a month or do ago. Noticed when i was cleaning out gutters. It probably won’t get warm again until the spring. I hope it’ll be okay until then.

Thanks everyone. the only reason I asked I the first place is because it’s a lower pitched roof, to the limit of shingles just being okay, and water is getting under them and dripping into my soffit. I don’t have a picture but can try to get one later. They overhang the drip edge 1/4” to 1/2” I would guess from memory. I guess I just have to wait for warmer weather. Thanks again

If water is indeed making it's way BEHIND facia and into soffit,you should hire a professional to assess and determine how to proceed. Like painting and pouring concrete,roofing look's deceptively simple,leading to a lot of unqualified contractors and mis-informed diyers. To properly install the roof on a 3k sq ft home require's less than 1 ounce of roof cement. That cement is to cover exposed nail heads on flashing and ridge shingles. You may or may not have recourse with people who installed roof.
