Comments (4)I agree with the above request. Also, some more other info would be good. Such as what needs you have for the room, for example storage needs if any and since you are not using the furniture shown, what do you expect or want to use? Thanks. Looks like a nice room, basically. Nice double windows....See Moreaftermarket window lock for shallow stile

Comments (10)Yeah I don't think the GC planned far ahead and was relying on the previous bad tile subcontractor to handle it. We ended up getting a new tile contractor to finish the bad tiler's job so that situation was what he was left with unfortunately. I understand cutting the frame off and then maybe that would be flush with the wall after the kerdi board is on it. How would you frame that off? Or would you recommend maybe removing the wood jamb and using azek to extend the jamb Also, the sill is pretty nonexistent - it's maybe 1/2". Would it be possible to extend it somehow and make a proper sill?...See MoreUpper kitchen cabinet shallower next to window
Comments (12)Thanks! They're Caesarstone Noble Grey. Actually quite a cool tone (we were really trying to avoid any beige, and although it looks a tiny bit beige in some of the online pics it doesn't read that way at all in person) but the hardwood really warms the whole space up. We did our kitchen as part of a massive almost-gut reno on a 110-year-old house as first-time homeowners who knew nothing about houses, renos or design. This was all done on a somewhat constrained budget (see: Ikea cabs) but we did get some layout and aesthetic assistance from a very lovely and affordable designer who gave us a good deal to help her build her portfolio, and that was some of the best money we spent....See MoreRobyn Mitar
