Comments (3)Personally, I like it the way it is -- a nice light beige. If you want to switch to gray, make sure it goes with your cabinets, flooring, and countertops (paint a large swatch on cardboard and hold it up to all those surfaces). I am not a fan of the darker accents, and I also think both of your paint options are a bit dark....See MoreI hate my paint!
Comments (37)A SW color consultant recommended Shiitake to me for most of our new home and Ancient Marble in our north facing bedrooms. How are you liking Shiitake a couple years later? I’ve been living in “old lady pantyhose” houses for the last 17. I’m ready for a change, but still want warmth that can go well with our warmer wood furniture. Picture of said old lady paint lol...See Morepaint color advice needed:) (SW Shiitake or Accessible Beige)
Comments (6)Painting on the walls will be hard to cover up. Sampling color on the color you're trying to cover doesn't give it realism The samples are too small. Get bigger samples (paint cheap framed canvas from Michaels) and test them on all the walls throughout the house (being on canvas makes them easier to move. Purchase Samplize ($6/each) and use painter's tape to move them around. It took me 6-mos or more to test samples. If you don't/won't limit your time then Accessible Beige will be the easiest to blend. The floor is brutal and if you go lighter, it will go darker....See Morewhy does "accessible beige" look pink in my home!?

I have no idea what you are wanting to do. Do you want the doors to diappear then paint them exactly like the walls even no shine at all.I use this color often cut 25 % pr more to have anice neutral background, I do that when clients have to chooose wall color for a builder, So in your case the walls are white so either the same white a real contrast not some wishy washy blah beige ....See MoreRelated Professionals
